Seems

The world seems to fit on a spiral
Going downward toward the pits of abyss
Struggling to breathe from the pressure of resistance
As sin buries the soul in immovable pain.

The heart seems perched on a target
Waiting for the next time it will be bulls-eyed
Wondering why vulnerability is its weakness
As sorrow dulls the ever-lasting quest for love.

The mind seems like a light bulb
Searching for the next bright idea
Trying to understand every problem that is faced
As thoughts provoke the removal of sorrow and sin.

I seem as fragile as a windowpane
Finding happiness in nothing I do
Fearing that this pane’s crack will grow larger
As emotion is a façade with a painting of my dancing smile.

Untitled 3

Exciting things ahead,
but sadness in the past.
Time keeps moving forward,
turning way too fast.
Living for the future,
but trying to slow its growth.
Make the most of every hour,
keep time against the rope.
The future remains ahead,
as the present fades away.
Passing time becomes the past,
You never get back those days.
Understand that every action
affects where you may go.
Regret none of your choices,
but don’t go with the flow.
Be your own person.
Do what is comfortable to you.
Morality is your choice.
Enjoy the freedom of your view.
In the long run all that matters
is that you chose what to do.
Living presently as the future fades,
Bid the past adieu.

One Step Away

Steep as they might be,
I’m almost to the top.
Three more months till I,
see the stage and I walk.
That nine hour drive
couldn’t feel any better.
To college I go.
Stomach, light as a feather.
Nervous and excited
to be on my own.
To watch my parents act
as if they’ve been disowned.
My first hours alone
with all my roommates,
talking about the reasons
we wanted to escape.
But in the back of our minds,
we all have the same feeling.
As time grows on
it’s our parents we’re missing.
The feel of their comfort
makes everything ok,
Back in my hometown,
wishing I wasn’t one step away.

Blend

Red meets blue.
It blends with perfection.
Inside violet studded beauty
which seems to never to end.
The perfect couple as red and blue
Everything matching happy.
All is flawless until that day
that new colors start to happen.
These fresh new blends
are more than tempting
but red and blue
keep on protecting.
Seeing no flaw in one another
stops no curiosity.
And when new ones touch
perfection ends,
then new colors start to blend.
The colors change and mix
And turn into black.
they start to show off sin
infidelity rings
and loudly pierces ears
that will not be forgiven.
This betrayal of mixes
is crazy you see
because curiosity
cannot fix us.
Why one can’t be satisfied
with one beautiful blend
is a question of humanity
that is answered with that sin.
Pleasure can fulfill our wants
Purity fills our needs!
Necessity to be as one
Red and blue’s that perfect blend.

Hate

I hate the flower next to me,
I hate the weeds that used to be,
I hate the encompassing world around,
I hate it all with growing frowns,
There’s no reason to be so hateful,
But no reason to be caring,
I hate the irony of friends
mingling within your sister’s bearing.
The weed that choked the flower
did so with eager touch.
He framed his target to be a friend,
and then used it as its crutch.
I hate two-sided faces in clear view,
I hate fighting in the most degree,
Especially on account when
there’s no chance one will agree.
Why be friends with two-faced persons
who lie around the truth?
Why be involved with girls so foolish
who are still stuck in their youth?
All of these questions come with answers,
But these answers I don’t see.
I hate people who do not know,
why our eyes will never meet.

Sacrifice

Gone away to sacrifice
my appetite for sin.
Like a pig forever hungry;
never satisfied within.
Now, the time to sacrifice.
The crimson blood will pour.
To cut down and get rid of
any mute desire for more.
Here begging for forgiveness
standing gluttonous no more.
I will sacrifice my dignity
to shut this shameful door.
The key lies with your heart.
I’m in the rusty shackles of a prison.
Unlocked from all this torture
Thanking God for your decision.
With nothing left to sacrifice
I give my all to you,
and if you shall accept me.
We’ll surely make it through.

Perfection

Seamless perfection to every eye,
A woman to love, the luck of my try.
She kissed my lips and for the first time,
my heart was sparked; voice like a mime’s.
No words to express the feeling I felt,
Every small kiss continued to melt.
Her beautiful eyes blue, smiled with her teeth,
as her long brown hair thickened my glee.
My love goes as far as the universe is wide,
So help me to stand as start I glide.
The facilities of actions when your hand’s in mine,
Help to seed your perfection as love grows in vines;
Branching away and growing so tall,
feelings explained through the move of my jaw.
Which words can’t express, but I can’t ignore,
I fell for you as I haven’t before.
There’s more to this than a butterflied stomach
A love so true, one must not mutter;
But shout to all, his every shortcoming,
And yell the name of the one he is loving.
This woman is truly the spirit of grace.
Perfection in the eyes of all who chase.
But she loves only one, and receives it the same.
They continue to grow, as hearts interchange.
